How STS VentAssist uses contact details
Staffordshire Training Services Limited asks for your name and email address when you first use STS VentAssist. Company name and mobile number are optional. We use this information to understand who uses the resource and to respond if you contact us. We record when you submit the form. Your appliance and calculation inputs are not sent with the contact form.
Marketing emails are optional. If you tick the separate box, STS may email technical updates, training resources and course information. You can use the calculator without opting in. You can withdraw your choice by contacting us or using an unsubscribe link in an email.
Your contact form submission is saved in the protected STSAssist contacts database, where authorised STS staff can see whether you have used VentAssist, GasAssist or both. If you opt in and STS connects Brevo, your first name and email may also be passed to Brevo. Your company name and mobile number are not sent to Brevo by the contact form. STS reviews records and deletes them when no longer needed. Contact STS to request access, correction or erasure.
If you choose “Remember me on this device”, this app stores your submitted name, company, email, mobile and marketing choice in this browser for up to 180 days. You can remove this local copy using “Forget this device”. On a shared device, leave the option unticked. Removing the browser copy does not remove a record already held by STS.
